Make this adorable snowman dryer ball gift for someone special on your Christmas list! You only need a few things to put this snowman dryer ball gift together and you can customize it any way you like. It would also make a great stocking stuffer.
We stopped using toxic dryer sheets in our laundry a while ago and started using these wool dryer balls instead. Not only do I feel better about not having toxic chemicals in our laundry but the dryer balls reduce the amount of time you need to dry your clothes and that saves you money. It’s a win-win!
Here’s what you’ll need to make the snowman dryer ball gift.

Supplies:
~ Clear Loot Bags 11.5 in x 5 in x 3 in (you can also find these at Dollar Tree)
~ Ribbon for Scarf
~ Sticker Paper (to print snowman face & buttons)
~ Small Top Hat 3.75″x 1.75″
~ Small Rubber Bands
~ Hot Glue Gun
~ Cricut Cutting Machine (Optional)
Instructions:
Place three dryer balls in the clear loot bag and close with a rubber band so it looks like the picture below.
Next, I tied the ribbon around the neck of the snowman in a double knot so it would stay put. I did it pretty tight but not too tight to where the top dryer ball would pop out of the bag. You just need the scarf to stay put and not slide down the body of the snowman. Use wire ribbon if possible as it helps the scarf keep its shape.
For the snowman face, you can either use Sharpie markers to color the face directly on the plastic bag or you can print out stickers with the snowman face and buttons. I googled “snowman face” and took bits and pieces of what I found online to create my face. Then I printed the images on sticker paper and used my Cricut to cut them out. I have the Cricut Explore Air 2 and I use it for all of my projects. I absolutely love it! You can always cut the images out by hand if you don’t have a Cricut.
I also printed a tag with dryer ball information and instructions and attached it to the scarf with a little string.
Lastly, I used my trusty hot glue gun to stick the hat on top of the head of the snowman. The hat also conceals the snowman’s rubber band bun. Put the hot glue directly on the hat first and let it cool for a few seconds so it doesn’t melt the cellophane bag. Then press the hat on the head of the snowman and over the rubber band, pressing firmly for a few seconds until the glue sets.
That’s it! Your snowman dryer ball is complete! You could also pair this gift with a bottle of essential oils.
My favorites to use with laundry are lavender, lemon, and peppermint. What is your favorite essential oil to use in the laundry?

Do you have instructions on how to make the top hot for the dry ball snowman. I know you posted the measurements. Or, did you buy these.
Please advise.

Hi Terrie! I bought the top hats from Hobby Lobby. They were $1 or less each if I remember correctly. Hope this helps! 🙂
