Here’s a cute little Easter gift for teachers, friends, and co-workers that won’t break the bank. These easy to assemble Easter baskets are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face.
What you’ll need:
- Spring Pail (Target dollar spot or Dollar Tree)
- Notepad (Target Dollar Spot)
- Pencils – pack of 10 (Target Dollar Spot)
- Paper Grass (Walmart)
- Picks (Walmart or Dollar Tree)
- Butterfly Chalkboard Clips (Walmart)
- Easter Candy (Walmart)
I found these adorable spring pails in the Target Dollar Spot section and knew I had to do something with them. Man, that Target Dollar Spot gets me every time! I decided to make little gifts for my son’s teachers for Easter.
I added the paper grass to the pail, inserted the notepad in the back and included a pencil, Easter pick, and Easter candy. I used the Butterfly chalkboard clips as nametags. I actually asked a friend/expert hand-letterer for help with the hand lettering so the name tags looked perfect! All she used was a chalk pen that wipes off with water in case the teachers want to reuse the clips for something else.
The completed basket cost under $4.00 a piece so I made some for the admin staff as well. I just love how they turned out!
I also gave teachers and family these little Peep soaps I found that are totally adorable!
I got the soaps from Southside Soap Studio and they smell so good! Almost like jelly beans. They came four to a package so I split them up to make individual gifts. I added a little paper grass in a cellophane bag and finished it off with an Easter ribbon! Total cuteness overload!
Everyone at my son’s school is so nice. I love to do little things for them to let them know that they are appreciated. Did you do something for Easter for teachers, co-workers, or friends? Tell me about it in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
